Meet Alexandria’s City Manager

March 10, 2016 from 8 to 10 am

Stratford University, 2900 Eisenhower Avenue

The Eisenhower Partnership is proud to present a special event for our members and friends: a briefing by City Manager Mark Jinks on many topics of interest to those doing business, working, or living along Eisenhower Avenue.  Topics include the just-released City Budget, status of the Eisenhower West Plan, update on the widening of Eisenhower Avenue, new developments coming to the Avenue, food trucks, and more!  A continental breakfast (danish, fruit, coffee or tea) will be available.

Mark Jinks' distinguished career in the City of Alexandria government includes service as City Manager and previously Acting City Manager, since January 2015; six years as Deputy City Manager overseeing land use planning, zoning, historic preservation, transportation, economic development, environmental protection, code administration, affordable housing, parks, recreation, cultural activities, and museums; and 10 years as Chief Financial Officer.  He is a member of the Regionalism Council of the Urban Land Institute in Washington and serves on a number of local and regional boards.  He has a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the Pennsylvania State University.

There is no fee to attend.  Free parking is available on site.
